Challenge
The store ran on Webflow. There it was not possible to set different prices, delivery and payments for Lithuania, other EU countries and Poland, and the pages loaded slowly. Expanding into new markets with that system was too hard.
Solution
I rebuilt the store with Medusa.js and Next.js. Each market has its own prices, delivery methods and payment providers, and more complex business rules are handled by separately written modules. Analytics has been running from day one, so we can see where buyers stop.
Results
Three markets (LT, EU, PL) run in one system.
Separate prices, delivery and payments for each market.
Pages load faster than in the Webflow version.
A new market can be added without rebuilding the store.
Analytics shows the step where buyers leave the basket.
Worth knowing
Check market-specific pricing, delivery and payment requirements before choosing an ecommerce platform. Analytics helps the team investigate how customers use each market’s checkout.
